WATCH D.O.G.S. is a one-of-a-kind, school-based father involvement program that works to support education and safety. Who are WatchDOGS? Fathers, grandfathers, step-fathers, uncles, and other father figures who volunteer to serve at least one day a year in a variety of school activities as assigned by the school principal or other administrator.
As a program of the National Center for Fathering, there are more than 5,348 registered schools in 47 states that participate in the WATCH D.O.G.S. program, in addition to participation in China, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Barbados.
Last school year almost 400,000 men in more than 4,700 WATCH D.O.G.S. schools across 47 states volunteered at least one full day in their child’s schools through this amazing program.
Thanks to all our our Watch D.O.G.S. so far this year!
